A pretty good article in my opinion. Covers the "what to look for in a vise" based upon what you want to tie. Great for those who want to learn about vise function and terminology.
Glad that you like the article. I recall a Peak vise being ranked at or very near the top of its price category in a review of vises conducted by Fly Fish Ohio.
The vise pictured is the one that I tie on. It's a Griffin. I set it up so that its jaws rest horizontally. It functions as a true rotary vise with its jaws in this position.
That's a pretty good article! I've been tying on a Peak Rotary for 7 years and it hasn't shown any wear yet!
